Rockford Mass Transit Names Employees of the Year
The Rockford Mass Transit District is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been named Employee of the Year for their respective Departments.
Operator of the Year
1st Place – Bill McGuire
2nd Place – James Gladney
3rd Place – Jesus Meraz
Paratransit Operator of the Year
1st Place – Julio Rios
2nd Place – Larry Peugh
3rd Place - Miketha Searcy
Mechanic of the Year
1st Place – Matt Shoemaker
2nd Place – Jim Donnelli
3rd Place – David McLain
The RMTD management team has selected these employees based on their safety record, attendance record and overall job performance for calendar year 2015. These employees will be recognized for their accomplishments at an Employee Appreciation Day Luncheon on Friday, May 13, 2016. Each employee will receive a personalized gift and a VISA gift card in appreciation for their efforts.
The Rockford Mass Transit District has been recognizing Employees of the Year since 1989. In addition to honoring the First, Second and Third Place Employees of the Year from each of the 3 departments, the District will also be honoring the 18 employees who have achieved perfect attendance during calendar year 2015.
