COTA Appoints Vice President of Legal and Government Affairs/General Counsel

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announces the appointment of Christina Wendell to the position of vice president of legal and government affairs/general counsel.

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announces the appointment of Christina Wendell to the position of vice president of legal and government affairs/general counsel.

Wendell has held several legal and administrative leadership positions over the past 17 years. She joins COTA after serving eight years as general counsel for Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), a state agency that partners with Ohioans with disabilities to achieve quality employment and independence. She has also served as the Human Resource Legal Counsel and the Chief, Bureau of Personnel for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections; Senior Staff Attorney for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services; and Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Law Section in the office of the Ohio Attorney General.

Wendell holds a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University, as well as a law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law.

Wendell lives in New Albany.
