City of Seattle Selects CH2M to Deliver the RapidRide Bus Rapid Transit Expansion Program
The City of Seattle has selected CH2M as its program management consultant to deliver the RapidRide Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Expansion Program.
Transit (BRT) Expansion Program will provide high-quality transit throughout some of the densest areas of Seattle.
With the potential to influence transportation within Seattle for generations to come, this ambitious BRT program, which is part of the voter-approved Levy to Move Seattle, will provide high-qualitytransit throughout some of the densest areas of Seattle. The expansion includes building seven Seattle RapidRide BRT corridors by 2024; incorporating the multimodal commitments in the levy and modal plans; and funding design and implementation of multimodal corridors using standard and innovative funding approaches.
As program management consultant, CH2M will assist the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) in addressing the mobility needs of its rapidly growing city by developing and administering an overall program structure and implementation plan for the program, consistent with the levy objectives and King County Metro RapidRide program standards.
