Leading Companies From Every Segment of the Bus Market at the First Bus2Bus
Excitement is building towards the inception of Bus2Bus, an exhibition and congress for the international bus industry April 25-26, 2017 in Berlin, Germany. Following confirmation that the Swedish companies Volvo and Scania will attend, bus manufacturers including Alexander Dennis (UK), VDL (Netherlands), Linkker Oy (Finland) and Otokar (Turkey) have all confirmed their participation in the exhibition and congress. The event is co-organized by the German Association of Bus Operators (bdo) and Messe Berlin.
Kerstin Kube-Erkens, senior product manager, said, “We are in talks with all the relevant market players. Products and services from every segment of the bus market will be represented at the first Bus2Bus. Besides the displays of hardware, our Future Forum will be a venue for soft skills and a source of inspiration for the bus industry of the future."
Leading companies have already registered for the Components & Accessories section. They include ZF Friedrichshafen, a world leader in power train and running gear technology, as well as Eberspächer Sütrak which as a bus manufacturing supplier is responsible for entire vehicle air-conditioning systems. Hugo Vogelsang Maschinenbau, which makes pumps, provides wastewater solutions for buses, while 3A Composites is known the world over for its composite panels and materials. These have numerous applications, in transport and industry for example. Also represented in this section is Lehavot Production and Protection which will be exhibiting its fire extinguisher systems for vehicles.
In the Comfort & Design section Franz Kiel and Brusa, both seating manufacturers, as well as the global seat covering manufacturer Herbert Kneitz have confirmed their places at the exhibition.
The Digital Services section has secured the attendance of TomTom, a Dutch manufacturer of sat-nav systems, and Amcon, which supplies transport fare management and passenger information systems. Other companies which have registered include Busnetworx, which provides smart solutions for bus tourism and logistics, as well as the Swiss company Trapeze, which offers public transport companies and networks a wide range of IT solutions that enable optimum planning, operation and administration of public transit systems.
Trade visitors interested in Maintenance, Services and Infrastructure themes will find major companies such as ICTS, Kuschik Software and Deltaplan Datenverarbeitung among others at this event.
The bdo congress will discuss economic trends and political topics as well as strategies for promoting public transport and long-distance coach travel.
