Lynx to Hold Public Hearings and Workshops for August Service Proposal

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Lynx) has proposed making the following system-wide efficiencies effective Aug. 28.

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Lynx) has proposed making the following system-wide efficiencies effective Aug. 28.

The Lynx Board of Directors (BOD) will vote on the service change proposal at their July 27 meeting in the Lynx Central Station 2nd Floor Board Room.

Route efficiencies proposed include Links 11, 42, 50, 51, 111, 303, 406, 407, 436S and NeighborLink 622.

Trip additions are proposed for Link 56.

Schedule efficiencies will include time changes on Links 6, 38, 40, 55, 300, 302, 305, 306, 313 and 434.

The public comment period will begin May 31. Comments will be accepted at public workshops and hearings.

Link 11 — S. Orange Avenue/Orlando International Airport (Orange County) –All trips will serve the new Orlando International Airport Intermodal Terminal and eliminate service to Terminal A. Minor schedule adjustments.
Link 42 — International Drive/Orlando International Airport (Orange County) – All trips will serve the new Orlando International Airport Intermodal Terminal and eliminate service to Terminal A. Minor schedule adjustments.
Link 50 — Downtown Orlando/Magic Kingdom (Orange County) – Change routing to operate via Bonnet Creek Parkway and Vista Drive instead of Epcot Center Drive.
Link 51 — Conway Road/Orlando International Airport (Orange County) – All trips will serve the new Orlando International Airport Intermodal Terminal and eliminate service to Terminal A. Minor schedule adjustments.

Service to operate via Narcoossee Road and Laureate Boulevard to VA Hospital. Eliminate service to Nemours Children’s Hospital, Veterans Way and Medical City Drive. Minor schedule adjustments.
