Grande West Transportation Group Inc. has announced new orders for US private market customers.
Grande West's exclusive US distributor Alliance Bus Group will deliver ten Vicinity buses for private customers in New York, Boston and Boca Raton. The names of the private companies will not be released for competitive reasons.
William Trainer, CEO of Grande West stated, "Starting in January, our sales and engineering groups have been working closely with ABG sales staff to respond to many public and private RFPs across the US. We are now seeing that diligent work pay off, much like we saw in the early days of our Canadian sales ramp. It's very exciting to know that within the next two quarters, Vicinity will be operating across four states in the US which include New York, Georgia, Massachusetts and Florida."
These orders are already included in Grand West's backlog as a previous order from ABG.
Backlog: Current total firm orders for Q2 2017 through 1H 2018 delivery are for two hundred sixty five buses valued at over $96 million CAD ($72.50 million) .
