Cleveland RTA Trolley Drivers Dress Up as Rock Stars Beginning Wednesday to Celebrate Rock Hall Induction Ceremony
The 2018 Induction Ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is April 14 this year and rock royalty will be in Cleveland.
There are a number of easy and convenient ways for riders to get to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. RTA’s Red, Blue and Green Line 'Rapid' transit trains will get you inside Tower City. Transfer to the Watefront Line and exit at North Coast/E. 9th St. station. The museum is just across the street. Parking is free at RTA stations and several stations are conveniently located near exits of I-71, I-90, I-480 and I-271.
RTA’s HealthLine runs 24/7 on Euclid Avenue and stops directly across from the JACK Casino, adjacent to Tower City. Several other bus routes run 24/7 as well.
RTA’s green trolleys operate around the Downtown area, including Playhouse Square, Cleveland State University and the Warehouse District.
And returning again this year, after international acclaim, trolley operators will be dressed up as rock stars beginning Wednesday, April 11. Hitch a ride from Gerald Levert, Meatloaf, Jimi Hendrix, Janet Jackson, Melvin Franklin, Ray Charles, Bon Jovi, Nina Simone, Bootsy Collins, and Bob Marley through Saturday.
RTA's rock stars will offer rides for free with a smile. Trolleys operate on different routes with different hours during the day, evenings and on the weekends.
