CATA “In Transit” Photo Contest Winners Named

The Centre Area Transportation Authority launched its sixth annual “In Transit” Photo Contest in mid-March, through which CATA riders and the general public were encouraged to submit their own CATA-themed photography. By the submission deadline of April 27, a total of 221 photos had been submitted.

Entries were narrowed to three finalists by CATA representatives and online voting determined the following placements:

Grand Prize – submitted by Claire Kovach (with Alayna Hillard) 

• The Grand Prize Winner will have her photo featured on the cover of the Fall 2018 CATA Ride Guide and received a $200 Amazon.com gift card and a prize package valued at $200.

First Runner-Up – submitted by Supriya Pant

• The First Runner-Up received a $150 Amazon gift card, plus a prize package valued at $100.

Second Runner-Up – submitted by Kelly Saylor

• The Second Runner-Up received a $100 Amazon gift card, plus a prize package valued at $75.
