Lextran unveiled a new brand identity on Sunday, July 1 including a new mission statement, logo, graphics, and color-scheme.
“This new brand identity is about so much more than a logo and our colors,” said Carrie Butler, General Manager. “Lextran is thinking forward to what mobility solutions our community needs in the coming years. Our new branding is a representation of that, and we are so excited to share it with our community.”
Lextran updated their brand to enhance the overall customer and community experience and to create a more modern, inviting environment for everyone. Lextran collaborated with local firm Bullhorn Creative to establish a new brand identity for the public transit agency that provided over 4.5 million passenger trips in fiscal year 2017
Riders and the Lexington community got an early look at Lextran’s new appearance on Sunday, July 1, with the brand showing up on a number of buses, at the downtown Transit Center, on social media, and at the Lexington Legend’s game. Moving forward, a phased implementation of the brand will take place, as the new look is applied to interior and exterior bus graphics, at bus stop signs throughout Lexington, and on newly-branded Lextran collateral and swag.
