Gold Coast Transit District Service Adjustments Take Effect this Sunday, July 29, 2018
Gold Coast Transit District will make schedule changes to its weekend schedules effective Sunday, July 29, 2018. GCTD typically makes bi-annual schedule changes each year in July and January, based on analysis of ridership as well as community feedback.
Gold Coast Transit District’s updated Bus Book with new schedule information is now available free of charge on every bus, online, and at GCTD’s Customer Service Center at the Oxnard Transit Center.
Summary of Schedule Changes Effective Sunday, July 29th:
- Route 5 – First early AM Saturday trip cancelled. Two early AM Sunday trips cancelled.
- Route 15 - First early AM weekend trip cancelled.
- Route 19 - No weekend service. All destinations will continue to be serviced by Route 20.
- No Changes - No changes to any other routes or schedules.
New for Summer 2018 - To encourage passengers to use transit to reach fun summertime destinations, GCTD is offering free Summer Saturdays, where every ride is free on every fixed route, every Saturday from July 21st to August 25, 2018. During the week, passengers can also save on fares, by using the Token Transit mobile app, which provides 50 percent off the first pass purchased.
