The completion of the $430 million PATH Forward initiative next year will allow PATH to deliver faster, more direct travel for weekend customers and shorter wait times during weekday rush hours.
In partnership with the city of Alexandria, Amtrak, VRE and CSX, the projects support the Transforming Rail in Virginia initiative by separating passenger and freight trains.
The contracts cover planning for bus, light rail, metro, commuter rail and mobility capital projects that aim to improve transit access, efficiency and sustainability.
