People on the Move: Jérôme Wallut; Eric Sandstrom and Andrea Ball
Alstom appointed Jérôme Wallut, formerly president of Alstom Americas, as chief commercial officer, effective Oct. 1. He will oversee Alstom's global commercial activities including commercial strategy, business development and public affairs. In his role, Wallut is a member of Alstom’s leadership team and reports to Alstom CEO and Chairman of the Board Henri Poupart-Lafarge.
REV Group, Inc., named Eric Sandstrom as senior vice president, Engineering and Technology, a newly created executive leadership position. The new role will play a critical part in evolving the product portfolio, optimizing engineering excellence and leading product and powertrain design, innovation and technological advancements. Sandstrom previously worked for General Motors as global chief engineer – electric propulsion systems.
Andrea Ball has been named the executive director of the Oklahoma Transit Association (OTA). She brings 20 years of multifaceted experience working in trade association management, communications and public affairs. Ball’s career highlights include addressing the United Nations in 2016 on the digital divide and women, as well as being recognized in 2009 by the State Journal as a Generation Next winner, which highlights 40 outstanding business leaders under 40.
