Veolia Transportation's CEO Mark Joseph and On-Demand President Brian Wier jointly announced that Ario Keshani is the new Vice-President for Business Development for the On-Demand Division. The On-Demand Division encompasses SuperShuttle, ExecuCar (black car service), taxi businesses in several leading markets, airline crew transportation and other business lines.
He will work as a strategic partner to the company's business units to increase penetration in existing and new markets and develop new business initiatives and product lines. He will also lead the development of the company's new business proposals to clients, and help expand the company's affiliate networks.
"We are confident in Ario's leadership and strategic skill, and look forward to developing strong new business opportunities," said Joseph.
Keshani worked with Veolia previously until 2009, focusing on mergers and acquisitions before helping to launch Sun Cab in Montgomery County and Checker Airport Taxi at Dulles Airport.
Prior to joining Veolia, Keshani held positions at Capgemini and IDEO. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS, cum laude, from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
