Lochner announced the appointment of Craig C. Goodall, PE, as vice president.
In his new position, Goodall is responsible for continuing the expansion of the firm’s multimodal transportation business, including rail and transit initiatives in the Northeast. He will work in Lochner’s office in Newburgh, N.Y.
“Craig adds to Lochner’s continued investment in our rail and transit practice and beyond, which gives our clients confidence in the quality and guidance we provide,” stated William R. Mooney, Lochner’s vice president and director of rail and transit.
Goodall brings thirty years of significant leadership experience in consulting for major public agencies, specializing in multi-disciplined projects on a large-scale with complex components. His expertise extends to all practice areas of surface transportation services, where his technical and program management experience allow him to bring multi-faceted teams of skilled professionals and state-of-the-art solutions together on a broader basis.
“His leadership role in reconstructing lower Manhattan after 9/11 reflects his strong working relationship with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and its grantees to efficiently deliver the critical rebuilding of this infrastructure without delay,” commented Jeanne Cormier, senior vice president and director of strategic growth. “We expect to continue this partnership in our future endeavors.”
Prior to joining Lochner, Goodall was vice president for David Evans and Associates in New York, where he oversaw office operations and notably led the FTA oversight team for the $4 billion Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s World Trade Center Port Authority Trans-Hudson (WTC PATH) Transportation Hub and the $1.4 billion Metropolitan Transit Authority Capital Construction (MTACC) Fulton Street Transit Center programs. He has also made a valuable contribution to industry standards and best practices as the rail transit committee chair and vice chair for American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).
