First State Manufacturing has announced that Kim Taha has joined the team as human resources director.
“Kim’s sixteen year background in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment is proving to be invaluable,” said Vice President, Sher Valenzuela. “As we go through this unprecedented growth period, her ability to guide us through the challenges of ramping up our facility and the endless opportunities that come with being an employer will be a beneficial for all of our team.”
“Kim has extensive experience working with all facets of human resources, including workplace safety, but is especially passionate when it comes to recruitment and career counseling. She believes that employees are a company’s greatest asset and the more diverse a company is the more creative and successful it will be and that philosophy matches ours,” Valenzuela continued. “With a background that includes active duty service as an Air Traffic Controller for the United States Air Force, Kim is well suited to the challenges of her occupation.”
