Camira has appointed Ciara Crossan as transport design manager. Crossan will be managing Camira’s transport design team; working directly with customers and Camira’s transport sales team to design, develop and implement new products for mass transportation in line with market, customer, and environmental requirements.
Crossan has a wealth of textile knowledge — specializing in woven textiles — holding a degree in Textile Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London, and a MA in Textiles from The Royal College of Art, London.
Crossan has a proven track record as an innovative brand design manager. Responsible in her previous role at the Haddow Group for all aspects of design strategy; setting the creative vision through the entire creative and development process, and acting as a brand guardian to extend the Olivia Bard domestic interior fabric collections. Prior to this she worked as a designer of woven furnishing fabrics developing new design ideas from initial concept through to finished woven fabric for the contract and residential markets.
Crossan commented, “I am delighted to join Camira, and look forward to leading the experienced transport design and development team, to enhance our product offering, and strengthen our market leading brand proposition. Nothing makes me prouder than to exceed client expectations against objectives.”
