Joe Vogel is a vice president in the Cincinnati office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Vogel serves as market leader for the Cincinnati area, responsible for managing operations, developing strategies that position the firm for major business opportunities and establishing long-range plans and objectives. Some of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s recent projects in the area include The Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar, the Brent Spence Bridge replacement, the Boone County Transportation Plan, reconstruction of Fort Washington Way and construction management of the Great American Ballpark.
Vogel has more than 35 years of transportation experience in the Greater Cincinnati Region. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was Ohio transportation leader for a regional engineering firm, working with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), state metropolitan planning organizations, counties, cities, townships, and villages on transportation projects. He previously held senior positions with ODOT, the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Transportation and Engineering and Department of Public Works.
Vogel received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His professional affiliations include American Society of Highway Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies, Women’s Transportation Seminar, and Architects and Professional Engineers in Cincinnati Service. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
