Martin to Lead Multimodal Planning at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff

Martin serves as director of multimodal planning for the firm’s Northeast region, responsible for intermodal facilities, bus rapid transit, light rail and rail operations.

Dennis Martin has been named a vice president in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Martin serves as director of multimodal planning for the firm’s Northeast region, responsible for intermodal facilities, bus rapid transit, light rail and rail operations. He is currently a leader of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s planning work for the replacement of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.

Martin joined WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in March after a 33-year career with NJ Transit linking locations in New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia. From 2015 to 2016, he served as interim executive director of NJ Transit leading the successful negotiations for NJ Transit's expired bus and rail labor contracts, and directed the development of the $3 billion FY17 capital and operating budgets. He most recently served as vice president/general manager, light rail & contract services, overseeing the operations and contract management of the agency’s Hudson-Bergen, Newark, and River Line light rail systems, and Access Link, the statewide paratransit system.

Martin received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Rutgers University.
