Godara to Manage Rail/Transit Engineering for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in Orange, California

Rameshwar Godara has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Orange, California office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Godara will develop design for traction power, overhead catenary system and supervisory control and data acquisition systems for rail and transit projects.
Godara has 26 years of professional experience as senior manager for rail and transit construction, operations & maintenance. His is experienced in all cycles of projects from initiation through commissioning. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he served as chief resident engineer, power supply and traction, for a rapid transit project in Hyderabad, India.
Godara is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and registered chartered engineer with Engineering Council, UK. He received an M.B.A. in finance from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with honors from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, India. He was a member of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers.
