Alstom Mexico is Recognized for the Fourth Consecutive Year as a Socially Responsible Company
For the fourth consecutive year, the Mexican Centre for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) recognized Alstom Mexico as a Socially Responsible Firm, due to its principles and business strategies striving towards wellbeing and quality of life both within and outside the organization.
The award of a Socially Responsible Company recognizes the culture based on sustainability at Alstom in Mexico, thanks to their activities and initiatives to reduce energy, control waste and promote recycling, combined with their efforts to find solutions to social problems. Some of the certificates awarded to the company that support Alstom’s recognition as a Socially Responsible Firm include: Certificate of Clean Industry, Quality Business Policies, ISO 9000, Policies of Security and Zero Deviations, Policies of Ethical Values.
CEMEFI is a civil association founded in 1988, whose aim is to encourage and coordinate the committed, philanthropic and socially responsible participation of citizens, social organizations and companies to achieve a fairer, united and prosperous society. Conversely, the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico, in collaboration with CEMEFI, promotes Corporate Social Responsibility within Mexico, through the partnership of corporate bodies and nonprofits, to promote solid corporate practices.
