RATP Dev Appoints Joseé Danis as New VP of Business Development in Canada
RATP Dev North America has announced the appointment of Josée Danis as the VP of business development in Canada. Danis will be leading RATP Dev North America’s Canadian offices, currently based in Montreal, Quebec, as they expand to cities throughout the nation. Danis will be responsible for increasing RATP Dev’s presence in the country and represent the company in Canada’s numerous consortiums and transit organizations.

Josée comes to RATP Dev with nearly 20 years of experience in finance and the rail industry. Beginning her career at Canadian National Railway, Josée held various positions in finance, accounting and rail operations, and was awarded a President's award for her exemplary work with a complex process redesign project. Additionally, Josée served as the VP of corporate and business development for Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc., and has led complex commercial agreement negotiations.

Josée will be directing the full range of business development activities for RATP Dev North America’s Canadian expansion including participation in market sounding activities, meeting with local transit, city, and provincial government officials, representing RATP Dev at industry conferences, meeting with potential private and public partners, and managing transit operation and maintenance bids and proposals. RATP Dev is currently the lead operator on two Light Rail Transit P3 proposals, Hurontario and Hamilton, submitted with Cintra, Acciona, Ferrovial and Colas Rail.
