First State Manufacturing has announced additions to its ever-growing FSM family. FSM welcomed, Michelle Gist, marketing administrator, Dale Sands, director of manufacturing, and Edie Santoro, production manager.
Michelle Gist, marketing administrator for FSM’s sales and marketing department serves under Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Scott Crothers. Gist’s administrative expertise, coupled with her ability to anticipate the needs of FSM clients, enables FSM to deliver on its promise of “and then some”. Her financial acuity allows her to optimize current work and identify opportunities for future growth. Her responsiveness and ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages is key in FSM’s fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Dale Sands has joined FSM as its new director of manufacturing, overseeing all of the organization’s manufacturing processes and warehousing functions. He and his team ensure all customer orders are shipped on time with “integrity sewed in.” Sands brings to FSM 20 years of progressive experience in business management, distribution and manufacturing. Recognized for his expertise in process improvement, Sands supports FSM’s commitment to state-of-the-art manufacturing with an emphasis on efficiency and lean technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Waynesburg College and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Baltimore.
Edie Santoro comes to First State Manufacturing with over 24 years of production management experience in the field of manufacturing. Her in-depth knowledge of every facet of the product line and management of the sequential operation of multiple products is unsurpassed. With an eye for refinement, Santoro works with each product’s line leader to produce a finished product that is most suitable for the end user. Her ability to monitor numerous product schedules while simultaneously maintaining communication between all members of the team ensures that a quality product gets out the door on time, every time.
