SENER has appointed César Quevedo Galván as the new general manager of the infrastructure and transport business unit, reporting directly to the managing director.
A civil engineer with a degree from the University of Cantabria (Spain), César Quevedo Galván joined SENER 19 years ago, where he has held various positions of responsibility, including director of infrastructure and transport in Mexico, his previous position.
In this role, he led and developed major projects such as the Mexico-Toluca intercity railway, line 3 of the Guadalajara subway, the Atizapán-Atlacomulco freeway, supervision of the tunnels of the Durango-Mazatlán road, Mexican regulations on ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), the restructuring of the Banobras toll road and the master plan for Mexico City airport.
With this appointment, SENER is ready to tackle its strategic plan for 2017-2019 with a team that has been strengthened in the field of Infrastructure and Transport. Technological differentiation, as SENER's main hallmark, as well as the determination to invest in people and geographical presence, will consolidate the company's future growth in this sector.
