DASH Welcomes Mark Curry as Marketing & Design Specialist

The Alexandria Transit Company has welcomed Mark Curry as its new marketing & design specialist. Curry will be the main point of contact for DASH's social media management, website updates, and customer communications as well as assisting with all things marketing and event-related.

Curry is a graduate from the University of Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Architecture History. His love for design and marketing led him to previous employment with Legacy Home and Pottery Barn Kids where he helped provide design elements to projects and worked on several successful marketing campaigns.

Curry is a recipient of the Design Excellence in Architecture Award from the University of Virginia, School of Architecture. He is also a volunteer at Kindness Corp founded by his Godmother – a local community service organization that provides assistance to those in need. In addition, Curry is a recreation leader for community activities for Arlington County Parks and Recs, and he also volunteered with Mary Miss 1,000 Steps to help design an interactive playground for the children of Washington Heights in New York City.
