Nomad Digital has appointed a new West Coast Sales Manager in the US.
Mark Flores has 25 years’ experience in the rail and communication industries and a deep understanding of wireless technologies, and the passenger and maintenance benefits of ICT in the transport industry.
Prior to joining Nomad, Flores held senior sales positions at Lilee Systems and Cornet Technology, where he was responsible for building the sales pipeline and driving revenue growth while aligning business strategy closely with customer needs. He also led the Los Angeles Department of Transportation team updating their transport network from an analogue to digital system.
Flores will focus on growing Nomad’s traditional passenger connectivity opportunities in the rail market and will also work with several West Coast bus operator customers, using Nomad’s cutting-edge connectivity solution.
His role is to develop existing Nomad customer relationships, building digital partnerships with key US accounts. It also includes driving awareness of Nomad’s value proposition in the fleet maintenance market — showcasing how its systems identify areas where rail operators can save significant sums in maintenance and engineering costs.
Nomad’s new West Coast Sales Manager, Flores, said “I’m delighted to join Nomad at a very exciting time with the company winning business right across the globe. We have some great customers in the West Coast and we can really build on that further, nurturing those relationships while exploring new partnerships.”
Steve Zwart, regional sales director, North America said, “We welcome Mark to our sales team in the US. He has a proven track-record of building strong relationships with customers and ensuring we provide the excellent service they are expecting.”
