Ross to Lead Business Development in the Central Region for WSP USA

Reneé Ross has been named business development director for transportation and infrastructure in the Central region of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

A senior vice president in the firm’s St. Louis office, Ross will be responsible for refinement and execution of WSP’s business development strategy in the Central region, which comprises Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Wisconsin and Iowa. Her focus will be on ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions that result in greater returns and market share for WSP. 

A professional with more than 20 years of experience in engineering, project management and operations, Ross’ capabilities include assessment of market conditions and forecast, strategy development and implementation, and client engagement and relationship building. She joined WSP from a global provider of technical, professional and construction services, where she held a variety of positions, including director of business development for infrastructure and, most recently, manager of operations for buildings and infrastructure.

A licensed professional engineer in Missouri and Illinois, Ross received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Among her professional affiliations, she is president of the St. Louis chapters of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers and the Women in Transportation Seminar Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter.
