RailPros announced the establishment of a new position, Assistant Vice President of Safety and Training and the appointment of Richard (Rick) Bellew to the role.
In this new position, Bellew will direct the development and implementation of system-wide safety, health, and environmental initiatives in accordance with RailPros Field Services safety commitment, customer requirements and governmental regulations.
Bellew is an experienced railroad professional with over 18 years in freight and transit railroad, structures, equipment, safety, training and compliance. Before joining RailPros Bellew held leadership positions at several large railroad services companies, as well as the FRA and BNSF. Also, Bellew is a member of the APTA Rail and Commuter Safety Committee.
Commenting on the new position, Ken Koff, senior vice president, said, "RailPros is firmly committed to achieving a level of safety that is second to none within our industry. Bellew is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a bachelor of science in business management and a master of business administration.
