Claudia Bilotto has been named transportation & infrastructure area manager for the Atlanta office of WSP USA.
In her new role, Bilotto will support diversification and growth, drive strategic direction, and lead the WSP transportation team in the Atlanta market.
Bilotto joined WSP in 2014 as an assistant vice president and planning/environment manager. She has successfully led pursuits and delivered projects for clients such as the Georgia Department of Transportation, Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, the State Road and Tollway Authority, the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, the Atlanta Regional Commission, Atlanta Beltline, the City of Atlanta, and many counties. As area manager, she will continue to engage with clients while leading WSP Atlanta transportation operations.
“Claudia is a proven leader with an established track record in practice building, staff development, project management, and pursuit management,” said Pamela Townsend, Southeast transportation and infrastructure region business manager for WSP. “Claudia’s broad relationships with a very diverse client base will be key in maintaining and growing our Atlanta transportation operations.”
Bilotto brings 18 years of experience in the transportation industry to her new role as area manager. Prior to joining WSP she served as an associate vice president and highway and corridor planning practice leader for a national engineering firm.
She received a bachelor of arts degree in telecommunications from Penn State University, and a master of city planning degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is registered with the American Institute of Certified Planners.
In addition to her work with WSP, Bilotto is engaged in civic and leadership activities and currently serves as the chair of the Transportation Research Board’s committee on public involvement in transportation. She has served as a board member for WTS Atlanta, including a term as president in 2007-2009. She is also a member of the American Planning Association and the Georgia Planning Association.
