Rep. Denham Statement on FRA Administrator Confirmation

U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) issued the following statement in response to Ron Batory being confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the new administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration:

“This confirmation is long overdue, and it’s unfortunate that it took three high-profile, deadly accidents for safety to outweigh politics with Senate minority leadership. I look forward to working with Mr. Batory to enhance safety across our railroads, which includes implementation of Positive Train Control technology.”
