Fleet Advantage Ranked One Of Monitor’s The Top-Ten Private Independents
Fleet Advantage has announced it was honored as one of Monitor Daily’s Top-Ten Private Independents for 2018 based on 19.9 percent growth in annual funded new business volume in 2017. Monitor is “the independent voice of equipment finance” and ranked Fleet Advantage 9th overall based on its annual funded new business volume.
Fleet Advantage recently announced it leased its 10,000th Class-8 Truck, and in 2017 alone, the company placed purchase orders on over 1,800 new Class-8 Sleepers and Daycabs from various OEMs, valued at over $225 million. Fleet Advantage has been working diligently with its transportation clients to leverage its proprietary ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software) software and EXchangeIT to replace aging trucks with newer, more efficient units more frequently. The company currently represents 25 of the top 100 fleets in North America.
Just as important, recent tax reform and the new lease accounting standards have made it more attractive to lease equipment. Leasing provides increased flexibility to better manage the assets and allows companies to adapt to changing markets and business conditions.
“We’re honored to be recognized as one of the top private independents from Monitor, and it’s gratifying to know our business strategies involving leasing are contributing to this growth,” said John Flynn, CEO of Fleet Advantage. “The transportation industry continues to benefit from our flexible lease programs and resources, particularly our innovative leasing solutions that help companies increase efficiency, lower costs, and improve their key financial performance metrics.”
