NDYLTK Rail is now a wholly owned subsidiary of LTK Engineering Services of Ambler, Pennsylvania, and has changed its name to LTK Australia Pty Ltd.
In 2011, LTK Engineering Services and Norman Disney & Young established a partnership to offer complete rail engineering services for clients in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Africa. NDY was recently acquired by another firm, giving LTK the opportunity to purchase NDYLTK outright.
“This is a great opportunity,” said Dominic DiBrito, president of LTK. “We will continue to innovate and provide excellent railway engineering services. Our focus has always been, and will continue to be, on the client.”
Chi Ping Luk, the managing director of NDYLTK, will remain in that role with LTK Australia, which will continue to operate offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
“It’s business as usual, but better,” said Luk. “We will now have even greater access to LTK’s team of rail vehicle and systems experts from around the world.”
