Genfare Promotes Mark Mahon to National Sales Director

Genfare has announced that 10-year Genfare veteran Mark Mahon has been promoted to national sales director.

Genfare has announced that 10-year Genfare veteran Mark Mahon has been promoted to national sales director. In his new role, Mahon will oversee the sales team, as well as lead efforts to expand Genfare’s presence in mobile ticketing, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and ultimately, Data as a Service (DaaS).

“Mark’s wealth of experience and relationships in the public transit industry has always made him a key component of our team,” said Darren Dickson, Genfare’s president. “He has a solid understanding of the market and its innovative technologies, which allows us to help our clients build their fare collection solutions for tomorrow—starting today.”

Mahon worked for Genfare as a consultant for four years, before becoming the Director of West Coast Sales in March of 2008. Prior to that tenure, Mahon worked at the RTC in Las Vegas for more than 12 years.

Mahon will continue to cover the Western Region until a replacement is in place.
