JTA Vice Chairman Kevin J. Holzendorf Elected to the APTA Executive Committee

The American Public Transportation Association Board of Directors elected Jacksonville Transportation Authority Vice Chairman Kevin J. Holzendorf to serve a three-year term on the APTA Executive Committee.

The American Public Transportation Association Board of Directors elected Jacksonville Transportation Authority Vice Chairman Kevin J. Holzendorf to serve a three-year term on the APTA Executive Committee during its Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN. Holzendorf was appointed to the JTA Board in 2013 and reappointed to another four-year term in 2017.

“Being selected by my industry peers is a significant achievement,” said Holzendorf. “It is truly a privilege to be the first member of the JTA Board of Directors to represent Jacksonville on APTA’s Executive Committee.”

Holzendorf is an Account Manager at CISCO Systems, Inc. He has spent his professional career in both the private and public sectors working in the accounting, financial services and technology industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida.

A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Holzendorf is active in the community. In addition to his governance roles with APTA and the JTA, he holds positions on several other boards, including the Jacksonville Cultural Council, Wolfson Children’s Hospital Development Council and the YMCA Duval Regional Board. He also served as the Chairman of Jacksonville’s UNCF Leadership Council and as a Big Brother for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.

In addition, Holzendorf serves as Vice Chairman of the APTA Transit Board Member (TBM) Committee and serves on its Executive Council. He also serves on APTA’s Finance Committee, Audit Committee, Legislative Steering Committee and is the outgoing Chairman of the TBM Legislative Subcommittee.
