James Scott Farrin Personal Injury Attorney, Gabe Talton, was recently appointed to the GoTriangle Transit Advisory Committee. He will serve a two-year term.
An initiative of particular importance to Talton is the Bus Rapid Transit route which is earmarked to be established between downtown Cary, NC State University, and downtown Raleigh within the next five years.
As a fourth generation Cary, NC, native, Talton said he looks forward to improving and serving Cary and surrounding areas, particularly with regard to developing a downtown Cary transit hub – a Wake County-approved initiative.
“I enjoy opportunities to serve downtown Cary where four generations of my family have lived,” Talton said. “This transit hub, which falls under the Wake Transit Plan, will be a quantum leap forward for downtown Cary’s economic development.”
Talton has a keen interest in and passion for endeavoring to help minimize the environmental footprint in Cary and beyond. And he believes that the reduction of fossil fuel use and the economic development benefits, which the planned downtown Cary Multimodal Transportation Hub will bring, will help to reduce that footprint.
