Sabrina Drago Joins WSP as Sacramento Transportation Office Lead

Sabrina Drago has joined the Sacramento office of WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, as transportation office lead.

Sabrina Drago has joined the Sacramento office of WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, as transportation office lead.

In her role, Drago will spearhead the firm’s ambitious growth efforts in the Sacramento area, including working closely with clients to making their projects successful, recruiting and retaining the industry top talent, and enhancing the firm’s brand in the local industry.

“WSP is fortunate to have Sabrina join our Sacramento office,” said John Fisher, Northern California district manager for WSP. “Her breadth of industry knowledge and experience from holding high-level positions in engineering and marketing will enable her to identify key opportunities and exceed our clients’ expectations.”  

Drago began her career as a structural engineer, designing vehicular and pedestrian bridges throughout the western United States. Prior to joining WSP, her career included working at Arizona- and New Mexico-based firms, where she was responsible for developing client relationships, directing marketing and branding programs, leading corporate quality programs, and working with public sector leaders to improve transportation infrastructure throughout the Southwest.       

Drago holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from California State Polytechnic University, a master of science in civil engineering from Stanford University, and a master of business administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She also serves as a mentor for Advancing Women in Transportation. She is a registered civil engineer in California and Arizona.
