Proterra welcomes two new team members with Todd Pocobello as the director of field service and Mike Boggess as the vice president of controls, electrical and thermal systems.
Pocobello well work with the customer service team where he will lead the team, bring automotive and transit expertise to the role. He will report to Mike Finnern the vice president of customer service.
Previously, Pocobello founded his own company providing technical training and publications to service organizations. Before that he was the Director of Product and Dealer Service, Bus and Mobility for REV Group. He has held a number of senior roles in field service, technical training, dealer support and warranty. Pocobello is also an ASE Master Automotive Technician.
Boggess will join the engineering team where he brings three decades of transit and vehicle industry experience. He’ll oversee the company’s technology roadmap program launch efforts and will lead cost and reliability improvement projects in these areas. Some of the technology programs directly under his supervision include vehicle range modeling, depot charging simulation, product telemetry, customer vehicle controls features, electrical and thermal efficiency and autonomy projects.
Prior to Proterra, Boggess was the Chief Engineer for drivetrain, electrical and chassis at Blue Bird Bus and led the launch of their electrified school bus.
