Transdev names chief human resources officer for the U.S.
Transdev North America has selected Charlotte Furton-Walker as the new executive vice president chief human resources officer, where she’ll be a member of Transdev’s North American Executive Committee and a member of TopEx, the company’s top 90 global executives.
Furton-Walker brings an array of expertise in human resources over a career that spans over 20 years. She has held several HR leadership roles for multiple global organizations, including Ford Motor Company, Motorola Solutions and Honeywell International.
In her previous roles, she has had strong success in improving recruitment and onboarding efforts while reducing attrition, expanding training and development and implementing competency-driven, talent assessment tools. Her labor relations and change management experience, along with her functional experience in Finance and Manufacturing Operations, complement her HR talents.
She is passionate about providing people with the tools, training and resources needed to achieve their career aspirations. “The transportation industry continues to evolve and is becoming more innovative every day. I am looking forward to leveraging my experience and adding value to this dynamic organization,” Furton-Walker said.
