Gomaco Trolley Company (Gomaco) has named Lex Jacobson as manager and Jeff Lawhead as sales manager.
Jacobson started at Gomaco in research & development/engineering in January 1999 after graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, earning his Professional Engineer license in 2003. He was named product engineering manager in 2008 and will begin his duties as manager of Gomaco on Oct. 28.
“Trolley projects are increasingly engineering oriented,” said Grant Godbersen, vice president of manufacturing, Gomaco. “Lex’s engineering education and management background is a good fit moving forward with the company.”
As Gomaco’s sales manager, Lawhead will be responsible for following up on all inquiries and sales opportunities. He will also provide day-to-day communications with customers on current projects. He has worked at Gomaco since 1979 and has been with the company since it was formed in 1982.
