Genfare welcomes new sales and marketing leader

Genfare has hired Daria van Engelen to be the new sales and marketing leader.

Tasked as Genfare’s chief revenue officer, she is a seasoned transit professional with a proven reputation for developing business, achieving growth, introducing innovation and driving performance. She excels in executing both strategically and tactically by promoting customer engagement, gaining market and increasing revenue.

Prior to joining Genfare, she served as a business development senior director at Cubic Transportation Systems, a Principal at North Highland Company and a business development director of surface transportation at Serco Inc.

“I am honored to be joining the Genfare team. This organization has a tremendous reputation and culture,” said van Engelen. “I look forward to building on the solid foundation developed over the last several decades, and to continue to bring innovative solutions to our customers in the public transit industry.”

She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Economics from Skidmore College. She is also a certified Lean Green Belt professional, having received the designation in 2018.
