Siemens Mobility announces new head of mass transit for rail infrastructure business
Teri Hamlin has joined Siemens Mobility as head of mass transit for its rail infrastructure business.
Hamlin will lead the North American Division that provides rail automation, communications and signaling products for Siemens Mobility’s freight and passenger rail customers throughout the continent. Her experience leading large complex projects was showcased in major contracts utilizing Siemens electrification and digitalization on military programs around the world. Hamlin served more than 24 years as an Air Force pilot, maintainer, logistician and strategist in the USAF Reserve, in parallel with work in industry.

As digitalization and other new technologies continue to demonstrate incredible value, Hamlin is experienced in improving overall efficiency and reliability for large customers while they also navigate their future technology roadmap. Hamlin also brings expertise in forging successful public-private partnership and new business and finance models for large, first-of-kind projects, which the company believes could be a more viable solution for customers during tight-budget cycles.
“With mass transit agencies around the country affected by COVID-19, now is the time for us ensure agencies have access to new, digitalization technologies to provide efficient, reliable transportation with less budget strain and more cost savings,” said Hamlin.
