Ray Chan has joined the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority as its new business operations manager. He brings more than a decade of urban transportation experience to the authority.
Chan, who started with Greater Dayton RTA in March, will oversee the business functions for Greater Dayton RTA’s operations group. His focus will be on budgets and data management. In addition, he will supervise the maintenance and transportation payroll process, oversee security efforts, and usage of Greater Dayton RTA’s various technology systems.
“RTA is excited to have another data driven, results-oriented, transit enthusiast joining our team of transit professionals,” said Bob Ruzinsky, RTA CEO.
Chan received a Bachelor of Science, as well as master’s and doctorate degrees from Northwestern University. He most recently served with the Chicago Transit Authority, where he was a business intelligence developer and project manager.
