Scott McKelvie has joined Burns Engineering Inc., as the new director of business development, railroad and transit.
With more than 30 years of experience representing products and services across rail, telecom and construction industries, McKelvie will leverage his unique perspective commercializing next-generation rail technologies as well as his proven ability to identify collaboration opportunities among manufacturers and solution providers.
An early advocate of the importance of broadband connectivity, the Internet of Things and Ultra-Wideband Positioning systems for freight and passenger rail, McKelvie championed technology solutions that have since become essential contributions in the advancement of Communications Based Train Control, Positive Train Control and other signaling and safety innovations.
