Derek Brown accelerates Burns’ growth in Washington, D.C. region
Derek Brown has been promoted to director for the Washington, D.C., region at Burns Engineering.
Brown’s promotion reflects his critical role overseeing the rapid expansion of multidisciplinary engineering services for railroad, transit agency, aviation and institutional clients throughout the Greater Washington region.
Brown offers extensive experience rolling out large-scale technology upgrades for federal, state and local government agencies. An expert in future-proofed solutions that deliver attractive financial returns, Brown applies his background in capital planning to guide clients throughout the design and integration challenges of emerging technologies for controls, electric traction, fiber and wireless communications and facility-management solutions.
