The agency has added 17 new officers to the police department and will be adding three new K-9s to the force.

The six agencies awarded an APTA Rail Safety and Security Award were evaluated based on the effectiveness, benefit level, innovation and transferability of some their projects and endeavors.
The technology, which went live at the crossing on June 1 and is funded by a CRISI grant, creates a better experience for drivers and pedestrians while increasing safety for Metrolink passengers and the San Juan Capistrano community.
Launched in 2021, the pilot live streams bus camera feeds into Winnipeg Transit’s Control Center in emergency situations.
The EMAP accreditation is typically awarded to federal, state, local and tribal emergency response agencies.
The graduating officers will enter the second stage of their training, which includes three months of in-service field training with other MTA Police Department officers.
BCT's Project Homeless Connect works to help those experiencing homelessness and improve safety and security at bus stops and shelters.
