Sound Transit has awarded Skanska a contract to build the Lynnwood Link Extension L300 Main Package.
The project is in the cities of Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood, Wash. The $778 million contract which will be included in the U.S. order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2019.
Skanska will construct about 3.8 miles of new guideway alignment from Shoreline to Lynnwood. The project will include 2.2 miles of aerial guideway, two elevated stations and a five-story parking garage.
Construction is underway and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2024.
