More than 50 passengers have been hurt, with two train drivers badly injured, in a train crash into a truck in Thailand's southern province Sunday morning.
Bangkok, March 11 (QNA) - More than 50 passengers have been hurt, with two train drivers badly injured, in a train crash into a truck in Thailand's southern province Sunday morning.
The train drivers were trapped in the wreckage of the locomotive, as rescue workers attempt to extract and send them to the hospital, Thailand News Agency (MCOT) reported.
The Bangkok-Yala special express train hit a six-wheeled truck in Phunphin district as the truck were passing a railway crossing without a barrier, according to the initial investigation.
The police are still investigating the cause of the accident. (QNA)
