RailWorks Corporation announced May 21 that Nuno Pereira has been named president of its Canadian subsidiary PNR RailWorks Inc.
Pereira is responsible for leading PNR RailWorks, which specializes in providing track,
signals and communications and transit systems services for Canada’s rail industry.
During his 20-year career in design and construction, Pereira has focused on
transportation and heavy civil works projects, serving in positions with Walter Construction,
GTM Consulting and most recently with SNC-Lavalin. While at SNC-Lavalin, he served as vice president of roads and bridges, and vice president of the design/build group.
“Nuno brings a strong background in engineering and construction to PNR RailWorks
and has been actively involved in some of the same transit projects that we have worked on,”
said RailWorks Corporation President and CEO Jeffrey M. Levy. “His appointment comes at a
pivotal time in PNR RailWorks’ history. The company has experienced dramatic growth in the
past decade and is expanding its size, scope of services and geographic footprint to meet the
demands of its customers in the vibrant Canadian economy.”
