Corinne Olivier has been named a senior supervising construction engineer in the Washington, D.C. office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In her new position, Olivier will provide program management support for transit construction efforts undertaken on behalf of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. She will work with senior management at the agency to develop construction approaches for transit system rehabilitation projects that must be implemented under transit system operating conditions.
Olivier has over 20 years of transit industry experience. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was the owner of PMPC, a Georgia consulting firm providing services in project controls, project management, and claims resolution to owners, engineers, contractors, and government entities involved with large construction projects. She previously served as a project manager with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), responsible for numerous facility improvement and expansion projects. She also served as a project manager with Regional Transit Partners, a Parsons Brinckerhoff/Tudor-Turner Associates joint venture that was the general engineering consultant for MARTA.
Olivier received a bachelor of science degree in building construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Project Management Institute.
