High-Speed Rail Conference in Los Angeles to Draw top Government Officials and Business Leaders
The US High Speed Rail Association (USHSR) announced they will hold a High Speed Rail Conference Dec. 2-4, at the Metro Headquarters at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.
The three-day conference will bring together some of the nation's top government officials and business leaders, along with many of the world’s leading experts to discuss high-speed rail projects in development across America. At the conference, USHSR will highlight its recently launched “USHSR Project Pipeline – The Next 10” program, with goal of bring project sponsors and investors together.
Conference attendees will hear from elected officials, the California High-Speed Rail Authority, other top rail agencies, international high speed rail experts, private rail operators, finance and investment professionals, engineers, construction leaders, real estate development professionals and national transportation advisors.

Conference highlights include “Bringing High-Speed Rail to America,” the opening session with leading advocates for high speed rail in America. Hear about the benefits, opportunities, and challenges of a major new infrastructure project for America. “California High-Speed Rail” will provide an exciting update of America’s first true high speed rail project to break ground and the billions in contracts currently being awarded. The “HSR in America Update” will explore the status of the many high-speed rail projects in the works around the country, with special focus on corridors identified in the “USHSR Project Pipeline – The Next 10” program. “High-Speed Rail Around the World” will discuss the current status of the growing global high-speed rail network with representatives from around the world. “High-Speed Rail Investment and Real Estate Development” will explore mixed-use real estate opportunities at rail stations. “Transit-Oriented Development and Station Architecture” will explore design strategies for creating great rail stations while integrating them into cities and creating exciting new mixed-use places. “Private Investment & Financing High-Speed Rail” will explore strategies to creatively finance and build high-speed rail projects around America.
