Periklis Papadopoulos has been named a supervising communications systems engineer in the New York City office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Papadopoulos is responsible for the conceptual development and design of large-scale communications and security projects for rail and transit infrastructure.
Papadopoulos has over 20 years of security systems design and engineering experience, with expertise in physical security, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and perimeter radar detection systems for transportation and security infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he held senior management positions with global communications consulting firms. His experience includes work as senior program manager on several communications and integration security projects for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including the extension of the No. 7 line subway.
Papadopulos is a member of the Project Management Institute.
